Shagufta Noor Ahmed

President / Executive Director

Shagufta Ahmed has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry in Corporate America. She is a passionate advocate for the betterment of humanity and future generations. Shagufta has served as a board member for 10 years at a Weekend Islamic School (MCA), as an Executive Board member of the MCA (Muslim Community Association, and as a mentor and member of the MCA Women’s Committee. She has also chaired the TechWomen Alumnae Council and has been a mentor and coach for TechWomen for many years. Her vision is to contribute to a better world by working for humanitarian causes one at a time. Shagufta is well-known and respected in her community and has been a vocal advocate for justice and betterment.

Adeeba Shoaib

Adeeba Shoaib, with a strong background in interior designing, juggles between being a committed homemaker and her dedication to helping people in whatever way possible. Starting as a volunteer, she is currently active in the MCA (Muslim Committee Association), as a core member of the Women’s Committee. Adeeba thrives when she knows she has an opportunity to help people. She has co-led a wide variety of events at MCA which have immensely benefited the community. Being the thorough and organized person that she is, she has always had a vision for a better world through serving the community.

Afaque Ahmed

Afaque Ahmed holds a master’s degree in Medical Demography from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as a master’s in Sociology and Public Health from the University of North Texas. He has served as an assistant director in the Department of Population Welfare for the Government of Sindh, Pakistan. Afaque has experience working in various public health organizations, including Harris Methodist in Texas and the San Jose Medical Group in California. He has been actively involved in research, as well as monitoring and evaluation programs. His research focuses on topics such as population growth trends, attitudes toward family size in Pakistan, and the dynamics of family structures and child fostering in Zambia.

Dania Maraqah

Dania Maraqah is deeply committed to improving the lives of orphans and vulnerable children. Her professional life as a physics teacher and environmental specialist reflects her dedication to education and sustainability. Beyond her formal roles, Dania volunteers as the project department manager at the Palestinian Child Art Center (PCAC), where she passionately supports young people's creative and developmental needs.

She actively teaches STEM and technology skills to young students, believing that every child, especially those without parental support, deserves access to quality education and the tools to build a brighter future. Her work with orphans is driven by a heartfelt conviction that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in an environment of love, security, and opportunity.

Dania strives to ensure that every orphaned child can experience hope, stability, and a path to a fulfilling life. Her mission is to create a world where all children, regardless of their circumstances, have the chance to achieve their dreams and live with dignity.

Sabiha Chunawala

Sabiha Chunawala is a corporate attorney by day with a passion for literacy and education especially for young girls. To this end, she serves as a Library Commissioner for the Town of Los Gatos , the Board of Iqra Fund and OPEN SV, and has been a supporter since of GiveLight Foundation and Developments in Literacy for the past few decades.

Eileen Brewer

Eileen Brewer brings a 30 year career in business, including consulting services for multiple US Embassies around the world. Her work focuses on advancing the status of women and youth, by showing them new opportunities in STEM and entrepreneurship. Ms. Brewer has supported many global nonprofits focused on youth development via in-person workshops and presentations. She has also mentored dozens of women running businesses or nonprofits, with a focus on the Middle East and Africa. Eileen lives in Virginia, USA, as the Executive Director of 757 Accelerate.

Momina is dedicated to leveraging digital solutions to support impactful change. As an intern at Future Builders Foundation, she contributes her skills in design and technology to further the organization’s mission of empowering orphaned children. Driven by a commitment to accessibility and innovation, Momina works to create resources that enhance the nonprofit’s digital presence, helping to ensure sustainable support and opportunities for those in need.
