Clothe a Child, Change a Life

Clothing Projects

We took a group of orphaned children, aged 12 to 14, on a special shopping trip to choose their own Eid clothing. For many of them, this wasn’t just about getting new clothes—it was about experiencing the joy of shopping for themselves, making their own choices, and feeling a sense of independence.

Some of these children live in the orphanage, while others stay with relatives, but all of them share a deep bond of love and care. One moment that truly touched our hearts was when a young girl used part of her allowance to buy pants for her younger sister, showing just how much they look out for each other.

For some, it was the first time in years they had the freedom to pick what they truly liked, rather than simply receiving what was chosen for them. Their smiles, their excitement, and the way they proudly carried their shopping bags said it all—this was more than just a shopping trip. It was a moment of empowerment, dignity, and pure happiness.
